Hosting

What I do when you book me.

I write the running order, rehearse with your technical crew, check every name and host the event from the opening to the closing.

What I do

  • Preparation calls with you, and with your production agency if you have one.
  • The running order written by me, with the wording of every announcement agreed before the event.
  • Names, titles and brand names checked for pronunciation, including names in other languages.
  • On-site rehearsal and sound check with the technical crew, with cues agreed with the AV desk.
  • Live hosting: opening, transitions, speaker introductions, award presentations, closing.
  • Unplanned moments handled on stage: a late speaker, a video that does not play, a session that runs long.

What I do not do

  • Producing the event. You or your agency stay in charge. I work inside your plan.
  • Booking speakers, venues or technical suppliers.
  • Writing keynote content. I open, link and close. Your speakers bring their own material.

This keeps the roles clear between your production team and me, so we work faster together.

Practical answers

Where do you work?
I am based in Paris and I travel across Europe. Travel is one of the items in your quote.
How far ahead should I book?
I take one event per date. Once a date is booked, it is no longer available, so it is best to ask as soon as your date is set. For a short-notice event, call the direct line.
Which languages?
French (native), English and Spanish (fluent), live on the same stage. Italian for prepared lines only.
Who writes the host script?
I do, from your brief, and you approve it. Writing it is part of the job. If you already have a script, I work from it.
